About Me
DAISY DIN
Hello!
I'm Daisy, an aspiring filmmaker based in Wellington, New Zealand, and love all things comedy. I specialise in writing and directing unique and outlandish stories in the hopes to make people laugh.

Drama and media studies were always my favourite in school. I grew to love performing and making silly videos of me and my friends. Once I had to think seriously about my future, I knew a creative route was always the path, so why not try film?

When I first started studying I looked at cinema in a different way. I wanted filmmaking to be the outlet where I took myself seriously and explored my experiences and feelings in the way I'd seen it done on screen.

As much as I loved comedy I felt like I had to make films about serious topics and sensitive stories. While this is extremely important within cinema, when it came to creating such stories it never came naturally to me.
I realised that was never my path; comedy was.

I have a passion for creating quirky and funny stories and have written and directed three films at Massey University. I want to continue on this route and expand my writing and directing abilities.
